Designated US Agent

Foreign food facilities that are required to register with FDA must also appoint a designated agent. The agent must be physically located in the United States and accessible to FDA 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The U.S. agent serves as the primary point of contact on behalf of the foreign food manufacturer or exporter for all communication from FDA.

Many businesses offer to provide U.S. agent and facility registration services, but have very little experience dealing with FDA or food laws and regulations. At Morsel Law we not only provide U.S. agent and facility registration services, but we have extensive experience assisting clients who are faced with legal and regulatory compliance matters. Contact us here to get started.
